Diary of: A "Green" Blogger :)

***This giveaway is now closed.***

Mar. 4, 2011

Today is another exciting day on the "internets" as my mamaw would say! I love taking the time to search my favorite blogs (V & Co. Tatertots and Jello , YoungHouse Love and DesignSponge!

As a "green" blogger I have really enjoyed this year of learning about the blogging world and being incorporated with the MAGNIFICENT clique that is now LTC! So a big HOT PINK THANK YOU to Erin, Tiffany and Patrice for the invite!

Ahh, the memories....

So to top of the week of our one year celebration and wish LTC a big hoopla of a Happy Birthday here is a look back at my messes and masterpieces in the quirky mind of me: Jessica!

date: sometime in the past,

It appears I was quite fond of the school scene and will probably continue to pop out these types of projects considering it is my daily routine from 7:00am-3:00 (hope these were as functional for you as they have been for me)

date: sometime during our recent past:)

Again, I like to be a little more frugal in my design, and if you follow me on this blog you have probably noticed I'm usually in the thrift stores lurking around making vintage part of my home! LTC has really allowed me to take my "parts and pieces" and apply them to my happy home!

date: sometime in the near future:)
{Goals needed to be met... (dah, dah, dah, dah}
1. learn how to sew something {simple}
2. make more comments on other readers blogs {sorry guys}
3. meet the other 2/4 of my blogging partners! (that's right) Erin, Tiff! I can't wait to meet you! (a whole year has gone by and I feel like I know you, (Patrice I already adore you and I know I would just click with Tiffany and Erin as well...you are just my style)

So girls let's keep up the stellar work and I will continue to crank out my quirky crafts :)

Don"t forget to check here, and here for some great birthday giveaways....Remember the Express Necklace Knockoff, Spring Cards, Fancy Weathered Frame, and Dish Soap Aprons tutorials that we have shared with you this past year?

  10. I love the dining room re-do that Patrice did. My current dining room is similar to the before picture and this gives me some inspiration to try a few new colors and materials to give it a breath of fresh air. Love that you guys do projects that anyone could try.

  19. I love the measuring chart that you guys made :) i made one for my hallway. The only thing i didn't care for were the pictures. i like the idea of the pictures but i don't like that as you move them you can not see wear the person was at previously so i have decided to incorporate both ideas. i have laminated a picture to go next to the current mark on the chart but then i am also marking the chart with permanent marker and the name and the date so that we can look back at how big our child has gotten! Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas and keep up the great work ladies!
