Play Windows for a Problem Area

Today you get a little sneak peek into my daughters completed 'big girl' room. Since my last post MANY moons ago, I have been stuck. We couldn't decide what to do with the room. During my search for the perfect bedding, I was inspired to finish her room with a ballerina theme.

So moving on to this week's post...Play window's for a problem area.
This sweet baby doll bed was mine when I was a little girl. We love it in our daughter's room, however, the space it was in needed some jazzing up. So, I set about the task of making some play windows.
First, I painted a sweet scene on canvas boards. I went with a Paris Ballerina theme.
I painted white 'window-y' lines over the painting and then just added some 'curtains' with hot glue. Attempting to cinch and glue in all the right places.
Then, I connected the two individual windows with sweet ribbon (mainly to avoid putting anymore nail holes in my wall.)
I hung the windows directly above the sweet baby doll bed and we played away! I was a little unsure in the beginning, but am loving them more and more everyday.
I'll be linking to these parties this week, and I will be back next week with the rest of the "dancing details" of this little room!

Happy Thursday!
